It came to pass that trying to maintain the helicopters in Phan Rang while the 48th was on the road was not working out.  So the 390th TC went on the road and became the Traveling Circus.

The Army still had Caribous (fixed-wing transports) and that is what we moved to our first stop, Dak To.

It is sad that the Ektachrome problem has lost the color of these sunsets.  The clean air of Viet Nam made for spectacular sunsets.
