The next stop for the 390th Traveling Circus was just outside the MACV compound in Kontum.  We were separated from the forward base of the 48th and we had to fend for ourselves.  Normally we would go over to the MACV compound for food but we would have a cookout once in a while.
Kontum c Starting with William "Bill" Schmidt with the blond hair from Hicksville, Long Island, moving left we have Joe Payne, Ted Tippets from Arizona and Bill Taylor from West Virginia.  Second from left is Tony Di Camillo.  Heading right, it might be Bob Sinclair and then Daniels

We had a visit from a Skycrane that needed some fuel.  Quite a change from our Hueys.
